About this Event
Calling all writers, journal-keepers, and garden lovers: let's meet up at the sculpture park in front of Memorial Art Gallery for an afternoon of writing inspired by Soil: The Story of a Black Mother's Garden by Rochester Reads 2025 guest, Camille Dungy. Whether you're just getting started or have filled countless pages, you're welcome to join a supportive community for an afternoon of reflection, connection, and inspiration through nature-based prompts with literary guide, Aries Jordan.
Think deeply about your connection to the soil as you write, reflect, and connect with others a few weeks ahead of Camille Dungy's in-person, keynote address at the MAG on October 9th (free to attend!)
Literary partner: Writers & Books
