Joshua Hatcher’s School of Hard Bops performs fresh interpretations of classic jazz tunes infused with Blues, Gospel, Swing, Bebop and “the Spanish tinge”. Presenting a diverse program of exciting and tightly executed instrumental and vocal arrangements, this group channels the spirit of the great hard bop bands of Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Hank Mobley, Cannonball Adderley and Kenny Dorham.
