Joshua is a singer-songwriter and record producer from Dallas, Texas. He is currently, located in Nashville, TN where he is a solo artist, supported by a full band, as well as co-founder of a creative production & branding company, Visions From Neptune.Josh grew up primarily in the Dallas suburb of McKinney with his mom and two sisters. His musical abilities are supported by a family of accomplished Texas musicians such as his grandmother Evelyn, father Danny, and uncle Jim. A writer, as well as an avid reader, Joshua's second love to music is spiritual/mythological texts and classic American literature such as, I Am That: Talks with Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell, and all things by Cormac McCarthy. One of his most prized possessions is a first edition copy of McCarthy's best selling novel, The Road. Josh is best known for his self-produced first EP "Love in Youth", which features stripped down instrumentals and melodies that are more lyrically focused. "Love in Youth" debuted to positive reviews from local and regional press, and as a result, Joshua was signed to a record deal with State Fair Records in Dallas, Texas. While with State Fair, Josh released a full band album, largely for cinematic and television use, as well as his upcoming full length record, "We're On Fire", debuting Summer of 2021.
