Josh Johnston - New Departures

The music of Dublin pianist, singer and songwriter Josh Johnston takes in jazz, blues, folk and classical music in a singular manner that just sounds like him. After three albums of songs and two albums of piano instrumentals, Josh retired in 2022, surfacing occasionally to play gigs with Clara Rose, Enda Reilly, Angie McLoughlin as well as taking some time to dream up new musical adventures. Returning last September to a gentle, exclusive gig in Dublin, Josh is delighted to play his solo debut gig in Arthurs. An improvised mix of songs and instrumentals from a 25 year career.
