EN: Josh Island embodies a true European identity. Born in the UK to Dutch parents, he moved to Germany and the Netherlands before settling in picturesque Luxembourg. Here he started playing shows in local pubs and venues after school, steadily growing a loyal fanbase as a vocal powerhouse, soulful songwriter and energetic entertainer. Since then, he has toured across Europe with over 350 shows, opening for James Morrison, Mighty Oaks, Charlie Cunningham and more, playing intimate living room gigs as well as selling out headline club shows.
Inspired by the greats like Sting, Dave Matthews band or John Mayer, Josh intertwines singer-songwriter pop with elements of soul and folk. His second EP Love Don't Come Easy, produced by Portugal-based Nelson Canoa, achieved airplay on SWR1, RTL, Deutschlandfunk, Bremen Eins and others. When he's not playing music, he's filming personal vlogs for his YouTube channel.

Als starker Sänger, gefühlvoller Gitarrist und einnehmender Performer hat Josh Island sich europaweit eine treue Fanbase erspielt. Er trat unter anderem mit James Morrison, Charlie Cunningham, die Mighty Oaks und sogar für die drei königlichen Familien der Benelux-Staaten auf. Seine letzte EP 'Love Don't Come Easy' wurde vom portugiesischen Produzenten Nelson Canoa (Carminho, Sara Tavares) produziert, und war regelmäßig bei SWR1, Deutschlandfunk und Bremen Eins zu hören.
Josh verwebt Singer-Songwriter Pop mit starken Elementen aus Soul und Folk, zu seinen Inspirationen gehören Sting, John Mayer oder Dave Matthews Band. Im Mittelpunkt steht jedoch Joshs einnehmende Bühnenpräsenz und Geschichtserzählung; sie verwandelt jeden Veranstaltungsort, egal wie groß oder klein, in eine magische und persönliche Umgebung. Für dieses Konzert steht Josh Island im Duoformat mit dem Drummer/Percussionisten Pedro Gonzalez auf der Bühne.
