Learn-to-Swim Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills

Purpose:

• Orient participants to the aquatics environment and help them gain basic aquatic skills.
• Help participants begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices around water.

Prerequisites:

• No skill prerequisites
• Participants usually start at about 6 years of age

This ticket is not a guarantee that you will be admitted into a class. It is an application spot meaning that you have priority. If you do not meet the requirements for the class, your application spot is not transferable into a different class level. You will need to re-apply for the other class. There is a $45 payment due by February 27th, 2026, at Jose Marti Pool by 12:00 p.m.
