Jonny T-Bird

Some say you have to be born with the blues to play the blues. That was the case when Jon Neuberger was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age. But that didn't stop Jon from picking up the guitar at the age of thirteen. Jon was given the name JONNY T-BIRD while he was a student at Wauwatosa West High School and one of his teachers (Bob Bathurst) called him that name out of the blue. The more he did it, the more that name stuck. Over twenty years since Jon started playing live and so far, he's already shared the stage and bill with well-known touring artists such as Greg Koch, Casey James, Michael Coleman, Billy Flynn, Coco Montoya, John Primer, Joanna Connor, Sue Foley, Los Straitjackets and Reverend Payton’s Big Damn Band. With five albums and a Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee award, Jonny and his band Jonny T-Bird and the MPs will never disappoint if you get the chance to hear them live!
