PARADE REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED. Jonesborough’s Annual Christmas Parade returns on Saturday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Jonesborough. 🎄
Continuing with tradition, the parade will take place on the second Saturday in December. This year’s theme is “Christmas Movie Favorites”.
Folks of all ages will gather along Boone and Main Street Downtown in anticipation of the arrival of Christmas movie-themed floats, bands, classic cars, dancers and, of course, Santa Claus as they make their way downtown.
As one of the few nighttime parades in the area, Jonesborough takes advantage of the beautiful small-town setting in the historic downtown area as the stage for the event. Early registration is encouraged as spots fill quickly. If all spots are not claimed, entry deadline is Monday, December 8. Incorporation of live music and lights is highly encouraged for all participants. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top four entries.
