Blending deep funk, modern jazz, and adventurous improvisation, the band brings this iconic collaboration’s sound to life with fresh energy! The band will feature Sean Lehe, guitar - Andre Fylling, keys - Tom Monson, drums - Jonathan Stoyanoff, bass.
Medeski, Scofield, Martin, & Wood (MSMW) is a prominent jazz-fusion supergroup formed by the collaboration of legendary jazz guitarist John Scofield and the avant-groove trio Medeski Martin & Wood (MMW), which consists of John Medeski (keyboards), Billy Martin (drums), and Chris Wood (bass). The partnership began in 1997 when Scofield recruited MMW as his backing band for the album A Go Go. While that first record was officially a John Scofield solo project, the chemistry led to a long-term equal partnership under the name Medeski, Scofield, Martin, & Wood.
