First up is a blues duo featuring Jonathan Nicholas who has played as a solo artist at Aberjazz will be joined by Ted Crook, who also appeared in Aberjazz as part of his own band, Ted Crook's Highway.
The second band, the Washboard Resonators are an entertaining duo, 1920's style jug band playing ragtime, hokum and blues. Jack Amblin and Martyn Roper are not just highly accomplished musicians they are also seasoned entertainers giving their performance a gentle touch of comedy. Jack, who has recently been touring with Post Modern Jukebox, plays washboard, drums and percussion while tap dancing and singing in harmony with Martyn who plays a fascinating selection of beautiful steel guitars, the banjo, ukulele and of course a jug..
