Consisting of some of Montreal‘s top improvising musicians, including Jean-Michel Leblanc on guitar, Eli Davidovici on bass, and Aaron Dolman on drums, this stellar ensemble finds new improvisational and compositional frameworks for expression through the lens of composers Peter Schat and Jenny McLeod’s map of chromatic harmony, the Tone-Clock. Thoughtful, beautiful, exotic, and weird, Fermi Paradox takes the listener on an uncanny musical journey into the unknown.
