Jazz Series / Live at Timucua: Vocalist Jonathan Karrant brings his love and appreciation for Tony Bennett’s unparalleled contributions to The Great American Songbook. Karrant, a well-accomplished vocalist in his own right, released his fifth album Eclectic (2023) last year. He currently tours the U.S. and Europe engaging audiences with his soulful vocals and emotional phrasing. Much like Bennett, Karrant’s song selections range from contemporary to standard. It was Bennett’s renditions of the standards that led Karrant on his lifelong musical journey. Those standards led Karrant on a journey to New York City’s Metropolitan Opera House and Lincoln Center, and on to Las Vegas where he worked with legendary music director and pianist Vincent Falcone. Expect an intimate, heartwarming evening of great songs in a tribute with a personal touch.Karrant's album, On and On (2012) hit #4 on the Billboard Jazz charts and his album Live (2018) hit #2 on the iTunes Jazz Charts.
