Folkies listen up! Come for a night of profound and energetic songwriting as Jonah Birtwell, Mariam Kubursi, Tom Huangpu play an exciting show of folk/country/indie inspired music at the Buren!
Jonah Birtwell is a halfling from the shire of Newtown, Connecticut who was born with gigantism, forcing him to integrate into human society where his stature is more common. In keeping with his roots, he doesn’t wear shoes, serenades with sweet songs and plucked rhythms, metalsmiths silver jewelry, and crafts poems of nature, religion, spirituality, love, and childhood recollections. Otherwise, he might just seem like a normal guy in a green tie and vest.
