About this Event

Jollof Fest Mississauga 2026

This year’s theme, “Jollof Across Borders: Flavors of the Diaspora,” brings together the rich culinary traditions of West Africa and the global diaspora for an unforgettable 2-day festival of food, music, and culture.

Join us Saturday, July 4, 2026, and Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM for an in-person experience packed with delicious dishes, vibrant entertainment, and amazing community vibes. Whether you’re a die-hard jollof lover or trying it for the first time, this festival will take your taste buds on a journey across borders.

The highlight of the weekend is the legendary Jollof War Cooking Competition, where talented chefs representing different West African countries will battle it out to claim the 2026 Jollof Crown. Who will take the title this year? Sierra Leone? Liberia? The Gambia? Nigeria? Ghana? Senegal? Come taste, judge, and be part of the debate!

Expect live music, cultural performances, cooking competitions, interactive activities, exciting giveaways, and plenty of incredible food vendors serving jollof and other mouthwatering African and diaspora dishes.

Bring your friends, family, and appetite — because Jollof Fest Mississauga 2026 is where culture, food, and community come together for an unforgettable summer celebration.
