Info: Nick Jack Pappas writes jokes for a living—or at least that’s what he tells himself when he pays his rent in Los Angeles. He was previously the humor columnist for Toastmasters Magazine, where he helped public speakers look less like deer in headlights. As a freelance writer, he’s penned punchlines for everyone from stand-up comedians to presidential candidates (they all lost). In 2021, he wrote jokes for Amber Ruffin at the JFL Awards.
Out of 1,600 candidates, Nick was one of eight selected for the NBC Late Night Writers Workshop. These days, he runs the sketch collective Boogiemanja LA and works with talent at Apple TV+.
