A Day of Connection and Compassion for Bereaved Parents

Joined on the Journey is a heartfelt one-day gathering created for bereaved parents—mothers, fathers, caregivers and grandparents who have experienced the unimaginable death of a child.

This is not a seminar. It's not a conference. It's a space of understanding. A place to connect with others who “get it.” Whether your loss was recent or years ago, this day is for you.

💛 Upon arrival, you'll receive a welcome bag and have the chance to fill it with comforting and helpful grief resources: books, journals, children’s books, pens, tissues, comfort items, and more.

🗣 A keynote speaker will guide us through compassionate conversations about grief, love, and healing.

💬 Small groups will meet throughout the day, offering time to share stories, reflect on common themes of grief, and witness one another without judgment.

🧸 Childcare is available. A certified counselor will lead children in grief-sensitive crafts and story time centered around sibling loss.

🥯 Breakfast snacks, coffee, and lunch will be available to all attendees.

💵 This event is completely free. Parents Left Behind fundraises all year long to offer events like this, the Weekend Wellness Retreat, grief yoga, Coffee and Connections and more.
