The club is still planning to celebrate the 4th with Will T and his excellent Barbecue! The grill is in place and we are out collecting all of the fixins. The day is full of activities. Poker Run - the poker run, which starts around noon, is kind of like a race, but not a race. There is a course, you go from buoy to buoy, then get a poker hand based on the number of buoys you tack around. Winning hand gets a prize! Cookout - locally famous Will T and his North Carolina style barbecue. Yes, it's awesome! Start time for this is probably around 5:00 PM- get here at 4:00 to be safe. Bring chairs and blankets if you want to eat out on the grass. Bring friends, too- we just ask that they bring a little cash to drop in the jar for Will and his crew (like $10/person, which is still a great deal). Bring a dessert to share if you want.
