We are reaching an exciting milestone for the Kansas Chapter of Sierra Club as we celebrate our 50th anniversary and embark on a new era of leadership with Zack Pistora as our new Director. This is a wonderful opportunity to congratulate Zack on stepping into this vital role, connect with him, deepen relationships with one another, and socialize in person.
We are also thrilled to have an honored guest, Kate West, Deputy Regional Field Director, national staff member, and Zack’s supervisor, join us for this special occasion.

Kate West is an accomplished nonprofit director, campaign manager, grassroots organizer, and policy advocate on economic, energy, and environmental issues.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, Kate has served as Director of the Virginia Chapter, increasing revenue by 60 percent and doubling staff capacity, and currently supports chapters across the Midwest as Deputy Regional Field Director.
Kate is a dedicated advocate for social and economic justice and an experienced trainer, strategist, and coalition builder who began her career in political activism in Texas.
