Visit the AARP information desk and listening post on the second Wednesday of every month at the Wheaton Library in Wheaton, Maryland from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.Ask a question, and get a tsotskie! This service is free to all. There is no age or residency requirement. You can ask us any question you can think of. If we do not have the answer we will help you find it or refer you to the best resource. We have handouts that provide information on topics that are important to people at midlife and older: your health, your home, your family, and your finances. Examples include information for caregivers and those who need care, transportation in your community, housing, health and health care, consumer fraud and scams.
This service is brought to you by AARP, an organization for people age 45 and older with over 35 million members nationwide. AARP volunteers will be there to help you.
