The Director of Operations in the Business Development Department of the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA). The SCA is charged with
building and renovating all school buildings utilized by the NYC Dept of Education. The Business Development Department (BDD) is responsible for implementing and
monitoring MWLBE participation goals on SCA projects and contracts. He has direct supervisory responsibility for the contract compliance team, which has exceeded
the SCA’s 30% MWLBE subcontracting goal the past four years. Under his direction the Mentor Loan Program has closed over 35 million dollars in loans during his seventeen
years working at the SCA. He is also responsible for the SCA Bond program which enables MWLBE firms to participate in the Graduate Mentor Program and bid on
projects between $1,000,000 and 3,000,000 dollars.
