Join RI Atheists at the Witches Halloween Festival

Twist the bones and bend the back, itch-it-a-cop-it-a, mel-a-ka-mystic-a!
Rhode Island Atheists is excited to announce we will be returning to the Local Witches Annual Halloween Parade & Festival this year!
When we first received the invitation to join the spooky good fun last year, we didn't think twice about accepting. But we admit- we turned a few heads. For some, it was a confirmation that Atheists conspire with dark forces. Others were left in even further confusion about what Atheists believe in. And even some of our own members did a double take!
We'll see if we can clear things up, but it's really quite simple. Atheism is not a religion or belief system. Atheists are united by one thing- The answer to the question of whether gods exist. Beyond that, we're a diverse & broad demographic. And while most of us don't believe in witchcraft any more than we do religion, we're happy to support the freedom of all Rhode Islanders to do practice whatever beliefs, rituals or traditions they choose.
Contact us if you are interested in joining our marching group in the parade!
