Meet with ACMS Supervisor
Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (MST)
Location: Library at Hillcrest Shopping Center
5246 W. Overland Rd, Boise, ID 83705
What to Bring:
• Two forms of identification (such as a driver's license and Social Security card or birth certificate)
• OR a valid U.S. Passport
• Your phone, tablet, or laptop if you'd like assistance applying on-site
Position Details
• School days only – before and after school shifts available
• $18.50 per hour
• Work both shifts and earn approximately $37.00 per day while working about 2 hours per day
About the Role
School Crossing Guards play an important role in helping students travel safely to and from school. This position is ideal for retirees, stay-at-home parents, grandparents, community volunteers, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work that serves the community.
Responsibilities Include
• Safely assisting students and pedestrians across designated crossings
• Monitoring traffic conditions near schools
• Remaining alert and focused on student safety
• Interacting professionally with students, parents, school staff, and the community
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Candidates residing in or near Boise are preferred due to short response times to assigned locations
