Join or Die: Spirit & Place Festival Film Screening

Spirit & Place concludes its 2026 Festival with a screening of the award-winning documentary Join or Die, an inspiring look at why belonging—to clubs, congregations, neighborhood groups, volunteer organizations, and other communities—matters for our health, happiness, and democracy.

Arrive early to enjoy complimentary movie snacks, a cash bar, and to connect with local membership organizations at a casual "Join Fair.” Explore simple, creative activities designed to spark conversation about the communities that have shaped your life.

Following the film (5 - 6:30PM), stay for a brief audience conversation as together we reflect on one final festival question: What happens when we choose to show up for one another?

This event is in partnership with Heartland Film and is part of the Spirit & Place Festival (Nov. 5 – 15). Learn more at spiritandplace.org.
