Join InfraGard Maine to learn about an emerging, disturbing terrorism threatOver the last few years, the FBI has seen a significant rise in what many are describing as the most disturbing thing we’re seeing in the terrorism space – broadly known as ‘764’ or ‘the Com,’ 764 is a violent online network rooted in nihilistic violent extremism (NVE) that seeks to accelerate the collapse of society by sewing chaos, primarily through violence and the targeting of children. The FBI currently has over 250 investigations underway focusing on the NVE threat, with every single one of its 55 field offices across the country handling a 764-related case.

SPEAKERS:FBI Special Agent (SA) Lauren Harry has spent her career working national security matters for the U.S. Government. SA Harry joined the FBI in 2017 where she was assigned to the Philadelphia Field Office. In 2019, SA Harry was transferred to the Boston Field Office and then in 2024, SA Harry moved up to the Portland, Maine Resident Agency to work domestic terrorism matters. Prior to the FBI, SA Harry worked at the U.S. Department of State and traveled extensively overseas. SA Harry holds a Masters Degree from the National Intelligence University and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California. SA Harry is married and stays busy at home with three little boys and a Siberian HuskyIntelligence Analyst (IA) Matt Southard grew up in Maine, and went on to attend The George Washington University, where he received his BA in International Affairs with a concentration in Middle East Studies, spending a semester in Amman, Jordan. After graduating, he began working in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division as an analyst in 2007, where he spent approximately seven years, before transferring to the Portland, Maine Resident Agency of the FBI. IA Southard currently provides analytic support to the FBI’s National Security Programs in Maine.
