Join a Youth Career Pathways Community Engagement Team

CEEA is seeking CCD DEN-badged employees to join the Youth Career Pathways Engagement Team, a group that develops career exploration activities and supports student outreach at community events.

This fall, team members will help create engaging career exploration opportunities for local students attending aviation, transportation, construction and infrastructure-focused events. Volunteers will collaborate with colleagues across DEN to develop activities, prepare outreach materials and help students learn about the wide range of career pathways available at the airport.

These September events will kick off the team's work for the 2026-27 school year, with additional youth outreach opportunities available throughout the year.

Volunteers will:

• Join planning efforts for one or more events
• Collaborate with employees from across DEN
• Help develop student engagement activities
• Share ideas that make career exploration interactive and memorable
• Support event tables and engage with students, if interested and available

Event-day participation is encouraged but not required for all committee members.

Event Dates: Sept. 16-17

Help students explore careers at DEN and throughout the aviation industry.

Event Date: Sept. 19

Support activities that introduce students to the many opportunities available in aviation.

Event Date: Sept. 24

Help showcase careers in transportation, construction and infrastructure through engaging student interactions.

As a Planning Committee member, you will:

• Develop interactive student activities
• Collaborate with colleagues across DEN
• Assist with event planning and coordination
• Support outreach and engagement efforts
• Contribute ideas for student experiences
• Help create meaningful career exploration opportunities

Committee members may also have the opportunity to support one or more events in person based on interest, availability and event needs.

The team will meet weekly to prepare for the September events and coordinate outreach activities.

• Bi-weekly meetings in the CEEA space
• In-person and hybrid participation options available
• Meeting schedules will be shared after registration
• Additional collaboration between meetings may be needed as activities and materials are developed

• Build connections across DEN
• Develop leadership, collaboration and facilitation skills
• Contribute creative ideas for student engagement
• Support workforce development efforts in our community
• Help students discover careers they may never have considered
