Johnson Crane Hire Marathon, in Benoni GP (Timed by Peak Timing)

Peak Timing has been appointed as the Timing Service Provider to this event, Johnson Crane Hire Marathon.
The 40th Edition of the Johnson Crane Hire Marathon hosted by Benoni Harriers.
Please NOTE START TIMES AND BATCHES:-
Marathon and half marathon races start at 05:30 – entrants must be in place by 05:15 latest
There is NO access from the front of the start – runners MUST enter from the stadium
Referees will be asked to disqualify any marathon/21km runner later than 05:40 (late runners will be required to withdraw and will not be provided with qualification times for Oceans or Comrades)
Seeded runners will be able to access the front of the start via the left hand channel in Bunyan providing they have their official accreditation wrist band NO LATER THAN 05:25.
10km and 5km races start at 05:45 and be in place by 05:40 latest
10km and 5km will be in a holding bay in Harpur Avenue and access from the adjacent car park gate.
For safety reasons NO RUNNER will be allowed to start after 05:55
Referees will be closing the start and will disqualify / prevent late runners - This is a safety issue
The 42km, 21km & 10km events will be timed using a timing chip included in your race number and all races will be timed mat-to-mat.
If an entrant is planning to contend for any of the prize categories they must apply for Contender Status during the entry process and supply the relevant information. Please refer to the Contender Table that is available below or on www.johnsoncranemarathon.co.za
The first 3000 Marathon & Half Marathon online entrants will receive a moisture management T-Shirt.
All finishers will receive a medal.
No race numbers and shirts will be handed out on race day.
