After a four year hiatus, the Johnson County Historical Society is bringing back the beloved program Johnson County Barn Tour, sponsored by Hills Bank on August 3, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM The bus will depart at 9:00 AM from the Johnson County Historical Society’s Museum at Xtream Arena, 200 E. 9th St. STE 101 in Coralville, Iowa.
This year the selection of barns we will explore in Johnson County will include: Colony Acres Family Farm, the Schwab Round Barns, the Secrest 1883 Octagonal Barn and the Johnson County Historic Poor Farm. The half-day bus tour is $60 for Historical Society members and $65 for non-members. Transportation, lunch, and goodie bag is included in the price of the tour.
