Johnson C. Smith University 7th Annual Black Mental health Symposium

The 7th annual Black Mental health Symposium’s in conjunction with Johnson C. Smith University is to bring attention and enlightenment to the struggles of the African American communities. This year’s symposium theme will highlight the “Strong Black Woman Schema”. This symposium will include discussion of significant challenges, barriers and personal experiences. This will be a discussion as well as how professionals and community can create safe spaces for dialogue to share, develop effective ways to mental health expression and effective interventions from licensed mental health professionals and educators.
