“Johnny” Daigo Yamashita is known around Japan for his unique style of fashion and music. He is one of the few successful, young and promising rockabilly singers in the world and is making his own new Rock n’ Roll sound by infusing traditional Japanese music styles with specialty music of his own rock roots such as rock ‘n roll, rockabilly and blues. Johnny wanted to capture the essence of his warrior ancestors by mixing Japanese culture with western Rock ‘n Roll. In doing so, he has transformed the Japanese music scene with his creation of SAMURAI ROCK ‘N ROLL.Th' Losin Streaks are Northern California's preeminent purveyors of unhinged garage rock. Founded in the state's capitol in the early 2000s, Th' Losin Streaks' story began when Sacramento garage mainstays Tim Foster (guitar/vocals) and Stan Tindel (bass) of like-minded veteran band The Trouble Makers teamed up with drummer Matt Shrugg (ex-Groovie Ghoulies and Zodiac Killers) and guitar virtuoso Mike Farrell, who had made his name in area bands Daisy Spot, Sex 66 and Persephone's Bees (who he played bass for). The group quickly established a reputation with their frenetic stage show at venues around Sacramento.
Sisters duo Dog Party has a unique pop-punk meets 50's rock n' roll. Born right here in Sacramento they light up the stage with fast paced punk rock laced with a the snarl of being women. Do not miss them live at this show!
