Johnny Knollwood & the Church of Mad Love is a funky rock and roll group based out of the NYC/NJ area that draws influence from jazz, soul, doo-wop, and punk. Knollwood’s influences encompass a wide variety of styles, including artists like Rush, Black Sabbath, Funkadelic, The Beach Boys, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, and the Ramones. The Church of Mad Love's high-energy performances have been lauded by audiences as fun, danceable, and highly artistic.
