John Westholder is a singer, songwriter and an acoustic guitarist. He's been playing acoustic guitar since age 14. He comes from a musical family who either sing or play guitar. He was the lead singer in his own band and played with several bands from Oregon, Texas, Illinois, Florida to California.
As a young man, John had met Marty Stuart a country, bluegrass singer & songwriter who had encouraged him to pursue his gifts of songwriting and performing. He then met one of his favorite country singers, Merle Haggard and owns one of his guitars.
Soon afterwards, John was discovered in a TV show called Star Search before American Idol and was asked to go to Nashville, unfortunately life happened and it prevented him from pursuing his dream at the time.
John Westholder will be making his first Arizona appearance at performing live at the "Out of Bounds Lounge" in the Valle Vista Country Clubhouse, 9686 Concho Dr, Kingman, AZ 86401. Valle Vista community is located 14 miles from the city of Kingman, AZ.
