Known for his provocative and satirical approach, Waters has written and directed sixteen films, including cult classics like Pink Flamingos and Hairspray. His work unapologetically tackles themes of race, sex, gender, consumerism, and religion, infused with his unique blend of wit and cynicism. An acclaimed author of ten books, including Shock Value and Liarmouth: A Feel Bad Romance. Waters has also ventured into photography, sculpture, and performance art, continually re-editing and queering popular culture with his signature directorial flair.
