John Sager Retrospective: 50 Years of Building Beauty

John Sager has been building beauty in our world from his first sculpture of welded car bumpers in high school, through his 37 years installing artwork at the Blanton Museum of Art at UT Austin. His unique altered books, collages and assemblage sculptures have traveled around the world from New Mexico to New Zealand.

As a mainstay of the Austin art scene he has created and inspired work that can be found in almost every corner of our regional art world and beyond. John Sager is by definition a true world class Austin Artist.
