John Prince Park Tree Planting | Volunteers (10/31/26)

Community Greening has teamed up with the Florida Forest Service and PBC Parks to plant 125 Florida native shade trees around John Prince Park on Saturday, October 31st and we need volunteers to help us out!

These trees will provide cooler temperatures and much needed shade for bikers & walkers, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground!

CG Arborists and Tree Technicians will be on hand to teach and guide volunteers on the proper way to plant their trees. We welcome anyone who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, and helping a great cause! No experience necessary.

Since it's Halloween, we're encouraging volunteers to wear their costumes!

Community Greening will provide all of the necessary tools and supplies, including work gloves to borrow. Please wear closed-toed shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen.

We'll have water on-site (though we free to bring your own reusable bottle), as well as light snacks for volunteers, and even a DJ on hand to keep things extra fun.

John Prince Park is located is located at 2700 6th Ave S, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33461. Use the Park Entrance on Prince Drive located off of S. Congress Ave. Follow Prince Drive to the Smythe Pavilion where the planting will be located. There will be signage to help guide you.

After parking, proceed to the Community Greening tent to check-in - there will be signage and staff to help guide you.

Each volunteer must register under their own name, as the registration form includes a volunteer waiver.

Event is family friendly - all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Event begins at 9am. Estimated finish around 11am.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
