John Michael Thomas is in his late 20s and plays music. He wakes up and writes a song on a little acoustic guitar. It's one of his many habits, but I think it's a good one. You might think so too, especially if you heard it live on June 17th, that's a Thursday. He used to play around here a lot a few years ago with a band that felt big for awhile, Dalmatian. He's really psyched to play again. If you're able to make it, here's some tips:- oh oo ohh, Listen to the music: They talk about ordinary things. He has some funny, impressionistic things to say about them.
-Buy a something from the venue: it helps the venue stay open which in turn helps folks like John Michael Thomas who need to play music in front of people to feel some sense of completion in the creative cycle. He needs your approval.
-Sit on the edge of your seat: 'cus there's no telling what this guy might do, especially if he brings an aux cord and a drum machine.
