John Lensing sings with a hard fought wisdom that's difficult to forget. At a young age, he found street performing as a way to connect with strangers, and to soften the walls around their hearts. His songs have been streamed over 1 million times on Spotify, and tell stories of vulnerability, love, and the moments that make us human.
The Portland-based musician has toured North America and Europe, performed at festivals such as Sommer in Altona (Hamburg) and the Underground Music Showcase (Denver). His 2024 debut album "The Weight of the Love" explores themes of love, masculinity, queerness, and healing, and was produced by Andy D. Park (Noah Gundersen) and William IV Smith (Corey Kilgannon).
Mary Eliza, Portland-based singer/songwriter, grew up playing music in a family band in Oakland, CA, and has spent the years since traveling, living in her van, and busking on city sidewalks. She finds community in the mountains she situates between, the streets she steps through, and the communities she opens her heart towards. The catchy hooks of her songs are reminiscent of the bluegrass origins of Mary’s music, while the old-time, indie folk carried through her instrumentation captures the years she spent on the road.
