Yes…you are reading this correctly. John Kadlecik is coming back to the Crazy Horse! The man many deem as the closest channel to the sound and spirit of Jerry Garcia will be making himself at home on our stage for an unforgettable Sunday evening. The guitarist who was handpicked by Bob Weir and Phil Lesh to fill the unfillable shoes in the band Furthur has an angelic quality about him, casting a spell on any venue he plays.

The original co-founder of Dark Star Orchestra and current member of Melvin Seals’ & JGB will be visiting us all the way from his homebase in Washington DC. This will be a John K experience in its purest incarnation as he presents his ever-evolving solo act. Kadlecik creates his own improvisational symphony of acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, piano and more, all activated with a single electric guitar, in traditional solo song performances as well as looping full band jams. It has to be seen to be believed.

His last show here left us breathless in orbit among the stars. He’s a direct channel for the magic of these songs, transcending any simple explanation. Along with the music of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia, we’ll also be treated to some of his captivating original material as well as other beautiful covers.
