A much-loved Melbourne tradition to ring in the New Year! The ultimate New Year’s Eve event is at Arts Centre Melbourne with the Australian Pops Orchestra!
Ring in the new year in style, with good company, great music and luxurious surroundings. John Foreman’s 60-piece Australian Pops will once again take to the stage at the magnificent Hamer Hall, with Australia’s leading lady of song, Marina Prior, and tenor extraordinaire, Mark Vincent, together with Douglas Heywood and the Camberwell Chorale and the Dana Jolly Dancers.
Join us for a glittering gala concert favourite Broadway hits and popular classics, with Marina and Mark teaming up for duet highlights including The Prayer, Brindisi (from La Traviata), Music of the Night, Time to Say Goodbye plus New Year's Eve orchestral favourites, The Blue Danube, Radetzky March and plenty more.
Relax and enjoy the 2pm matinee or, if you’re coming to the 8pm Gala, why not make your night extra special by purchasing an add-on ticket to join us after the show for a special fireworks party at the Arts Centre, with drinks, nibblies, live entertainment and a fabulous view of the fireworks!

Make your New Year’s Eve experience one you will remember forever. APO is thrilled to offer a limited number of Balcony Fireworks Party Tickets that will see you overlooking the city skyline for the countdown to midnight from one of Melbourne’s most magical fireworks viewing areas.
Directly after the Gala, you are invited to The Pavilion at Arts Centre Melbourne to raise your glasses and rub shoulders with the stars of the show as we finish 2022 in the most magical of ways.
The Balcony Fireworks Party includes:
· Entry to our private room after the show, located within Arts Centre Melbourne, overlooking the city skyline.
· Unlimited bubbles, wine and beer to ring in the new year (until 1:00am).
· Live entertainment.
