About this Event

We are delighted to be working with art critic and Constable expert, Estelle Lovatt to run two special walking tours to accompany our John Constable in Hampstead exhibition.

The walking tours will trace Constable’s relationship to Hampstead as a home and as a place of inspiration. Tours last 2 hours and are moderate to easy in terrain. Sites include Branch Hill Pond, his home where he pained 'The Hay Wain' and Constable’s family tomb at Parish Church of St John on Church Row.

The walk will finish at Burgh House where you can view the John Constable in Hampstead exhibition for free!

Meet at Whitestone Pond at the corner of Heath Street and West Heath Road (what three words location: ///stone.spill.tins)
