John Comedy invites special guest comedians to visit their Dream Factory and perform with them their Dream Improv Comedy Show.

The dreams and desires of their special guest will be fulfilled live on stage.

The laughs are guaranteed as they weave together characters, stories and moments. No idea is too ambitious, no dream is too big.

Coming to Brisbane after a sell-out show on the Gold Coast! Welcome to Improvision — a one-night-only comedy special by Blah Blah Blah Improv where the songs, countries, and drama are made up on the spot. Think big performances, ridiculous characters, and audience suggestions driving the entire show.

No rehearsals. No safety net. Just world-class, improvisers from USA, Brisbane, and Gold Coast coming together and creating a musical comedy spectacle live. It’s fast, unpredictable, and hilariously wrong in all the right ways.

About the Brisbane Improv Festival

This year’s festival will be held on the 14th - 18th of July 2026 - that’s five nights of incredible improvised shows open to the public, and we will host 14 different workshops for improvisers to expand their skills. Previous Festivals had shows from around Australia and New Zealand, this festival is not to be missed!
