Man is the warmest place to hide. Arguably one of the greatest science fiction horror movies of all time, Carpenter's classic centers on a snowbound research team in Antarctica (including Kurt Russell) who dig up the remains of a spacecraft that has long been frozen in the ice. But the alien life thaws and infects the living. Cut off from the rest of the world, paranoia and mistrust begin to set in as the men realize any one of them could be the creature.
