John Beltran + C-Thru live under The Echo Bridge

Quiet Control + Echo Bridge Appreciation Society is beyond excited to present a special evening in the fresh San Antonio air with special guest, John Beltran. John is a legendary figure of the Detroit electronic music scene. His 1996 record, “Ten Days of Blue”, is regarded as one of the cornerstones of ambient techno music. Since then, John has been absolutely prolific, making an array of sounds from latin dance, to soundtracks, to nu jazz, techno and everything in between - yet everything remains consistently remarkable. An absolute honor to have such a legend join us down in Texas for an extremely special live set under The Echo Bridge.

Joining him will be another artist with deep roots in Detroit, C-Thru, who was a part of the Motor City’s fantastic shoegaze scene in the late 90’s and early 00’s. He has since found a new home in Austin and makes gorgeous downtempo electronic music, which has found a home on the legendary Pacific Rhythm label based out of Canada. With a brand new upcoming record, C-Thru is a Texas artist you won’t want to fall under your radar.

Please join us on October 5th at 5pm for an absolutely unforgettable night at The Echo Bridge. Sound by SA2040 will fill the space and take you to a dream world unlike any live electronic show you’ve ever experienced.

Wear comfortable shoes for the walk down under the bridge. You are welcome to bring a blanket or low folding chair for viewing the show, we ask folks with chairs to stay on the back row. Enter the bridge through Tandem Coffeehouse backyard, you will see us at the top of the hill taking tickets. We encourage everyone to buy drinks and snacks from Tandem for the show - they are our above bridge host and we love them !!
