På toppen af det stemningsfulde ZOKU hotel omkranset af flot cityscape kan du glæde dig til en talk & koncert-fredag med meditationstematik samt en unik elektronisk musik med dragende lydbilleder, sfærisk vokal og pulserende beats.
Arrangementet foregår på Event Space (Rooftop) / Gratis adgang.
Oplev Johanna Sulkunen spille gådefuld musik fra sin bemærkelsesværdige `Sonority`- trilogi. Musikken denne aften på ZOKU-hotellet er bl.a. inspireret af zenbuddhismen via KOAN-tradition, og hendes soundscapes er sine steder resultatet af field recordings fra japanske templer.
Sulkunens musik har fået mange rosende reviews og profilerede sammenligninger med på vejen blandt andet omkring hendes KOAN-album i trilogien:

Aftenens talk leveres af musiker, yogalærer og iværksætter Kristian Humaidan, som vil fortælle om sit spændende og sundhedsfremmende meditationsapp-projekt SoundWheel, som blandt andet samarbejder med Brunel University i London og Aarhus Universitet. Talken afholdes på engelsk!

At the top of the atmospheric ZOKU hotel surrounded by a beautiful cityscape, you can look forward to a talk & concert Friday with a meditation theme as well as unique electronic music with alluring soundscapes, spherical vocals and pulsating beats.
Experience Johanna Sulkunen playing enigmatic music from her remarkable `Sonority' trilogy. The music this evening at the ZOKU hotel is, among other things, inspired by Zen Buddhism via the KOAN tradition, and her soundscapes are in some places the result of field recordings from Japanese temples. Sulkunen's music has received many laudatory reviews and profiled comparisons with, among other things, her KOAN album in the trilogy:

The talk this evening is delivered by musician, yoga teacher and entrepreneur Kristian Humaidan, who will talk about his exciting and health-promoting meditation app project SoundWheel, a project which collaborates with Brunel University in London and Aarhus University. The talk is held in English!
