JOE JOHNSON - headlining, 3rd

Raised an hour drive from New Orleans in Mississippi, Joe grew up with great respect for the blues, gospel, and country sound that has defined the area's artistic heritage. His Grandfather, the noted early-Nashville Country artist B.J. "the D.J." Johnson, was a recording engineer, disc jockey, and Grand Ole Opry performer and many in his family were well known Gospel performers. Joe began his own career in the late 90’s touring around Mississippi before settling for a while in the music-rich city of Hattiesburg. Since 2004, Joe has called the westside of Colorado Springs home, spending his first seven years fronting the rock and roll band "Creating a Newsense", in the process building an avid cult-fanbase while releasing four albums and playing hundreds of shows, on the road and at home, while helping to establish the foundation of what is now a burgeoning Colorado Springs music community. Joe has released 4 full-length records, under his own name, since 2011.

JOELTON MAYFIELD - touring, 2nd

Raised in small-town Central Texas and based in Nashville, Tennessee, Joelton Mayfield crafts hard-hitting Alt-Country with a DIY Indie-Rock ethic. Mayfield’s distinct take on the genre blends Wilco-esque musicality with the dynamics and melodic edge of fourth-wave emo to create a sound all his own. This musical innovation underscores Mayfield’s deft lyricism, which draws a Southern Gothic literary sensibility and deals intimately with the tensions embedded in family, religion, masculinity, and love in the American South.

SNAKE AND THE RABBIT - opening, 1st

Snake and The Rabbit is the lovechild of husband and wife, Brett and Leanna Patterson. The two Colorado Springs-based songwriters have been writing and playing together since 2010, with a stripped-down, minimalist approach to Americana music. They are heavily influenced by Psychedelic Folk, American Blues, Outlaw Country, and lo-fi Garage Rock.
