Join Saxophonist Joel Sena and his band as they perform his new EP Enigma live, as well as a variety of original Jazz-Fusion music, some yet to be released. Enigma is the follow-up to Joel Sena’s 2023 release, Full Circle. Throughout the EP, Joel continues to explore his signature blend of jazz, rock, and electronic music. Envisioned as a connected body of work, Enigma ebbs and flows in intensity across its four compositions, grounded by Joel’s distinctive and ever-present voice on the Saxophone. Soaring melodies and improvisations are heard against the backdrop of pulsating synths and layered percussive elements. This results in an evocative and dark mood, inspired by the dystopias often found in cyberpunk literature. Recorded at Toyland Studios by Adam Calaitzis, Enigma features some of Melbourne's finest musicians.
