Join us for an exciting general meeting at the Bellevue College Planetarium with speaker Joel Lamb, this next Wednesday January 17th. All ages are welcome! Come meet the new board in person!This meeting will be both in person and virtual. Our speaker this month, Joel Lamb, has a BS in Astronomy, Physics, and Mathematics from the University of Iowa, a MS and PhD from the University of Michigan in Astronomy and Astrophysics. His doctoral dissertation was "Massive Star Formation in Sparse Environments".
He has spent the last decade teaching the next generation of astronomers, first at Nassau Community College in New York and now at Bellevue College. The topic of January's talk will come from his PhD and postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan and is entitled: "The Loneliest O Stars".

How do I find the Planetarium at Bellevue College?
The planetarium is on the second floor of the B building, room B244. The closest parking lot to the planetarium is the parking garage off of Kelsey Creek Road & Tyee River Road.
