Madison Folk Music Society | When two master storytellers like Joe Jencks and Deidre McCalla share a stage, it’s more than a concert – it’s a revelatory experience. With voices that carry generations of truth and melodies that stir the soul, this pairing is a rare and radiant convergence of artistry and authenticity. Each artist brings a distinct voice, yet together they weave a tapestry of song that bridges cultures, communities, and traditions in the most heartfelt way.
Joe Jencks, celebrated for his lush baritone and emotionally resonant songwriting, draws on his Irish heritage, classical training, and blue-collar roots to craft music that is at once grounded and transcendent.
