Join us for comedy at Golden Age, above Creston Brewery. We are proud to present Joe Elder, our host for the evening, and welcoming local stars to our stage for a night of stand-up comedy you won't forget. This comedy show occurs at our Golden Age event space above the Creston Taproom by Saugatuck Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, MI. Please remember that we will have a full bar during the show, but if you want to join us for dinner, visit us downstairs in our taproom before the show! Doors open at 7pm. Brittany Melvin
Brittany Melvin was raised by a single mom of three, but now her inner child and the mouse in her locket take the stage for the attention she deserves. With a unique cadence, she is a rising comic in the Grand Rapids standup scene. A writer for NewsFlash GR and a regular at Comedy Outlet Mondays, she has performed at showcases including Fem Showcase and Lass Laugh Comedy Festival.
Andrew Yang
Andrew Yang was voted “Best Comedian in Washtenaw County” in 2022 and 2023 by Current Magazine. He is a Michigan comic who runs shows at a punk rock venue in the Blind Pig and is a founder of the Tree Town Comedy Festival. Onstage, Andrew charms audiences with his energetic personality and engrossing stories mostly at his own expense. He has been fortunate enough to work with a few of his comedy heroes including Beth Stelling, Jackie Kashian, and one time had lunch with Maria Bamford. Andrew has performed on festivals across the country including the Upper Left Comedy Festival in Seattle, Let’s Fest in Indianapolis, and the Treefort Music Festival in Boise. He has also been featured on NPR. When he’s not on stage he’s probably on Yelp trying to decide what to eat later.
Joseph Johnson
Joseph Johnson is vape hitting hipster with a heart of gold. Joseph Johnson comedian based out of Grand Rapids. He was born in a small town in southern Michigan at a hospital that burned down shortly after. Joseph brings to the stage a witty, sarcastic style of comedy. From cockfighting to bagging groceries, he excels at adding a comedic spin on his unique and tramatic life story. Joseph has opened for Jesus Trejo and Dustin Sims. and has preformed at stages such as the Comedy Bar In Chicago, The Drop Comedy Club in SouthBend and Wealthy Theater in Grand Rapids.
Michael Bussler
Michael Bussler is a Grand Rapids based stand up who is regularly featured on Laugh Fest and around the Midwest.
