The Joe Cook Band, 2024 winners of the Washington Blues Society's prestigious awards for Best Blues Band and Best Traditional Blues Act, will perform live at the Salmon Bay Eagles on Saturday, June 20, from 8pm to 11pm.
Led by award-winning Minneapolis Bluesman Joe T. Cook, the band delivers explosive Chicago and West Coast blues with a Texas twist. Cook's masterful harmonica playing, soulful vocals, and original songwriting have earned him multiple Twin Cities Music Awards and a 2023 nomination for Best Blues Harp.
The powerhouse lineup features legendary Seattle blues guitarist Tim "Stoop Down" Sherman, drummer Conrad "El Machete" Ormsby, and acclaimed bassist Patty Mae (or Brady Kish). Together, they create an electrifying blend of traditional blues that ignites dance floors and delights audiences with authentic, high-energy performances.
