Joe Cirotti Trio, a well-oiled string band from the shadows of Northwest Jersey’s Appalachian ridge, fuses their multi-instrumentalist upbringings with a passion for American roots music. Formed amidst jam sessions in 2015, the current line-up of Joe Cirotti: guitar, Pete Lister: upright bass, and Timmy Coyle: mandolin and guitar, continues to craft a sound steeped in tradition yet infused with modern twists. Their debut release, “Joe Cirotti Trio”, launched on CD and vinyl in December 2023, and streaming on all major platforms. Instrumental virtuosity is paired with smooth vocal harmonies to stir up a one-of-a-kind blend of Americana, bluegrass, alt-country, gypsy jazz, and acoustic pop.
Wood Flower’s combination of tight harmonies, driving banjo, soulful mandolin, ripping twin guitars all supported by a solid bass line are highlights that define this up-and-coming Bluegrass band. Their unique yet traditional approach to Bluegrass music was formed in the spring of 2022 between a music teacher and his former guitar student from ten years prior who had recently graduated from Berklee College of Music. A Wood Flower performance mixes original songs with Bluegrass classics and an occasional outside the box cover tune. Wood Flower's self-titled debut album includes ten tracks, seven of which are original material and was released in the fall of 2024. It is available for purchase or streaming on all major platforms. Wood Flower is Michael Baeky (banjo, vocals), Gabe Delp (guitar, vocals), Wes Johnson (guitar, vocals) and Josh Sceurman (bass).
